THE FALLING AWAY

We have been critical of Iran and the fundamentalists we call radicals. They knew that the influence from the West and evil's being brought into the country was tearing their society apart. They know their Adonai can not tolerate that.

It would take that same kind of radical change in this country to get us back to where we need to be, although most might disagree with that. I'm not saying the Iranians are good people or are going to Heaven because they are following the wrong Adonai and Savior, but they do know there is a Adonai who will ultimately judge them. And, the Bible tells us that judgment will be swift and just. Will we be judged or have I missed something?

In this country I'm sure most of you and myself are fairly comfortable and happy. What is the reason we can tolerate life as easily as we do? Only because of the material things we have. Take away the life style most live and we would be the most miserable people in the world, devoid of what we say we want. Would we turn back to Adonai as our grandmothers knew him? I think we would be falling over each other to get to church. The greatest deception that Satan has ever perpetrated has been the materialism of this country. The most God-fearing people, and country, that has ever been on earth could not have been brought down with Adonai on it's side. We have traded Adonai for wealth, even phony wealth. We as a people borrow over 1 Billion dollars a day to live in luxury, as compared to the third world. You might say, why doesn't every other country borrow their way into luxury living? They can't! They are not being bought off. They are not a threat to Satan. This country is such a threat, through our once Christian values, we have been given the authority to borrow twice as much as all the assets in this entire country.

This includes your house and mine. At the rate we are going, by the year 2020, it will take all personal income taxes to pay the interest on the national debt. Where is the rationale for that? Would any bank loan you twice your assets while you use a credit card to pay your bills. Why is this? Satan has bought us. All he has to do now is call the note due. How many will give in and follow him to not lose everything you have?

The Bible tells us that money will be of no value in the end, so what would you pay Satan with? Two words, your soul. No one reading this thinks any of this is true or can possibly happen. It's already happened. It's over and a done deal. How many people you know today that are really close and have a zeal for Adonai and are willing to leave all their possessions and follow him. Probably not one you know, or at least a very few. Walk out into the world with just the clothes on your back with the faith that Adonai is going to some way provide for you. You say, some do. Yes, some do. Can that some be you, and how many more besides you could do that.

My point is that not very many people in this country, that are accustomed to the material wealth we have today, can return to Adonai. Most would blame Adonai if they lost everything. The only problem with material wealth is that it separates us from Adonai. Personally, I hold to the material things in my life now very loosely. Understanding that they can go at anytime. If the time comes to only take the clothes on my back and go another way I will do so. Surely us fanatics should limit our activities, right?

Revelation 3:14,15,16

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of Adonai; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Have we confused material wealth with salvation? If we had to do without one or the other, which would we choose. When we vote, do we vote for morality or for money? Would we rather our country be moral, decent and respected or be rich and corrupted by wealth, as wealth normally produces. If you agree that material things separate us from Adonai, then hasn't he (Satan) succeeded in driving us closer to him. All he has to do to accomplish his mission is to drive that little wedge between you and salvation. The love of your life and/or possessions more than of Yeshua is the problem. Pride of life, the first sin. Yeshua said that if anyone die in his name, he is automatically given a place in heaven. Satan has us convinced that having all the material things we want is "heaven". He has convinced us that man and woman are no different. A woman's hair was once her glory and her clothes unmistakably female.

Deuteronomy 22:5

A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your Adonai.

Do we know the difference today?

We continue to say that Adonai has blessed us and we deserve it because we serve Adonai. Are we really serving Adonai? When the Jews turned from Adonai, what happened? Did they live happily ever after in Jerusalem? I hardly think so! Didn't ole Nebuchadnezzar take them captive and off to Babylon they went. Is this of any meaning to us? If, as we say the Bible is a guide, and I think it is, didn't Adonai turn his face from them so they would not know him? Is this not true today? Will he turn his face from us?

Isaiah 1:4

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

If Adonai punished his chosen people for disobedience, will he cherish our sins against him? Do you personally feel that this country is really devoted to everything Adonai wishes us to do. Do you think homosexuality is not too bad?

For this cause Adonai gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain Adonai in their knowledge, Adonai gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Is debt Godly?

Read this quote,

"I fear for our nation. Nearly half of our people receive some form of government subsidy. We have grown weak from too much affluence and too little adversity. I fear that soon we will not be able to defend our country from our sure and certain enemies. We have debased our currency to the point that even the most loyal citizen no longer trusts it."

End quote.

Sound familiar? You might think that could come from a U.S. Senator in congress today. These words were spoken by a Roman senator in 63 A.D. Some 1,933 years ago. The Romans destroyed the Jewish temple around 70 A.D., as was prophesied, so you can see how profound this statement was and how intelligent persons and civilizations down through the years have experienced the same problems.

While we have been enjoying the same things the people of Rome enjoyed, Satan has been at work. When the Bible predicted the reincarnation of the old Roman empire before the end time; did it mean this? Who and what are we following today? What spirits are our leaders following? Hasn't it been published? Do you know who is guiding our country? Who is it? Who are the people in the highest office of the land talking to? Is it Adonai? Are they praying and asking for the knowledge of Adonai to govern with? Would it be preferable for our leaders to pray to Adonai for guidance? Evidently not. Most people love it and think it's cute. Read the Bible if you believe in Adonai. If you believe not in one thing the Bible says, then believe in nothing. If Adonai caused any lie to be told, he would cause others to be told. Our promise of salvation is all a lie if this is the case. We could all have a "contact a spirit day" and pick up a few pointers on this weeks football games or whatever we were trying to find out.

Deuteronomy 18:10:12

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your Adonai drives them out from before you.

Could we be the great Babylon? The harlot. The whore of the world, who gave in to materialism, greed and lusted for life. If we aren't, we are part of it.

In summarizing this chapter, I think we can say that the end has to be near. Not because of the 6000 years I've mentioned before, but because of the symmetry of God's plan.

Barnabas 15:4

Give heed, children, what this meaneth; He ended in six days. He meaneth this, that in six thousand years the Lord shall bring all things to an end; for the day with Him signifyeth a thousand years; and this He himself beareth me witness, saying; Behold, the day of the Lord shall be as a thousand years. Therefore, children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, everything shall come to an end. Barnabas 15:5 And He rested on the seventh day. this He meaneth; when His Son shall come, and shall abolish the time of the Lawless One, and shall judge the ungodly, and shall change the sun and the moon and the stars, then shall he truly rest on the seventh day.

The apostasy of the church is going on before our eyes and in some cases we are part of it. Are we following the church, or are we following Adonai? When major denominations are discussing whether to let homosexuals be priest, we know something isn't right. An abomination to Adonai standing in the pulpit. Think about it! Could he explain to anyone some examples of sin? I hardly think so, without condemning himself. I know preachers sin, but this is ridiculous. In the book of Revelation, it talks about the seven church's. I often wondered what Yeshua was trying to address in talking about these church's. I think that they are a description of the end time church's. Every church today would probably fit in to a category of one of those church's. Out of the seven only two had anything going for them, and only one of those was anything to brag about. When I look around, the church's have been caught up in materialism the same as everything else. Paying their bills is difficult, so if you tell the truth, you may run someone off. If we apply the one out of seven to us, we are not in healthy shape.

All in all, we must understand that we do not know God's plan. The Bible tells us we do not understand God's ways. The short period of time we spend on this earth can't be all we think it is. Satan has made us think that this life on earth is an all important period of time. This is a deception by him. We all may choose the path we want to take. A few years of cheating on, begging for, crying about, longing for, dreaming of, running from, lied to, tripped up, thrown down, and washed up is not my opinion of happiness.
