Time, times and half a time

5Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank (edge) of the river (life, time, generations of Gods people). 6And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.1

Time, times and half a time is found many times in scripture. As discussed many times previously, it can and has been used in many analogies. For instance, in the above scripture we see the 7000 years or 7 days of creation is a time, times and half a time.

Another interesting prophecy in Daniel eludes to another time, times and half a time. From the first sacrifice of the ram substituted for Isaac, Abraham implemented the perpetual sacrifice for redeeming man. 1260 days (years; a day equals one year in prophecy) later the sacrifice was taken away by Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BC. 1290 days (years) afterward the abomination that makes the Holy place desolate was set up and has made the temple mount desolate until now and until such time the prophecy is fulfilled. 1335 days (years) later the saints will be blessed. Where do we get this from?
10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
Old testament prophetic days are years and if referring to the past are Hebrew years of 360 days. Future prophetic years are in the Gregorian calendar or days of 365 years. In order to get the correct time you must multiply the years times 360 days and divide by 365 or vice versa.
Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the temple and sacrifice the first time. He was the head of gold, the first, the greatest of the rulers. If the analogy that the first daily sacrifice was taken away in 586 BC. when he destroyed the first temple and took away the contents of the temple is correct then let's add the 1290 days or 1272 Gregorian years to -586 and we get 686. The approximated date the 'Dome of the Rock' was set up by the followers of Mohammed, the offspring of Ishmael of Abraham. 1335 or 1316 years later, Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days, or 2002 AD.
Another time, times and half a time will occur, which will literally be a week of years this time described as 42 months in which the power of the Antichrist will rule. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.2 Or could the rule of a spiritual Antichrist already be amongst us bringing on the anti godly activities going on today? Did the last week of Daniel begin with the peace treaty signed September 13, 1993? 27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: Note: the word 'many' here in Hebrew is spelled 'RAB'. The first covenant was made with RABIN. So, the covenant with many would have literally been with Rabin, which it was. If so the week will end September 13, 2000, basically coinciding with the Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement for the Israelites. If this is true the sign of the perpetual sacrifice taken away was the comet of 1997. 14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, The Book of Matthew gives us another clue as to a sign of some kind. 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:3 If this was the 42 months or the midst of the week of years, this truly was the sign in the heavens that there is no more sacrifice for sins. in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. To the average Christian this would mean the age of grace is over. Intentional or uncontrolled sin in your life would bring you under the wrath of God. Whether this happened in 1997 or will happen in the middle of the next week of years discussed next, it will happen. The abomination would be set up 30 days after the seventieth week around Oct. 12-13, 2000. Or, could it be this first week of years corresponds to the seven years of plenty when Joseph with the coat of many colors, another type of Jesus whom the soldiers cast lots for his garment, and one more seven year period which is the time of famine. The time of famine represented by the falling away from the word of God and the spiritual dead from lack of knowledge prevail? If this is the case, Psalms 101 certainly fits into this scenario.
18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.4 Was John trying to tell us this is the last 'time' 2000 years or '1972 years using our calendar' until the Antichrist would rule? I think so! Thirty-three (33) AD. when Jesus left, plus 1972 equals 2005-2006. Psalms 106:30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed. 31And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore. Phinehas, who saved the Israelites from the plagues of destruction, was prophetically a type of Christ. 1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. It is very clear that the climax of the two days are close or in my estimation have already occurred and the final chapter of creation is at hand. God doesn't lie and is not slack concerning his promises. What was the case for the two thousand years he was to be gone? Was he ignoring us or did he (Jesus) just give us up for a period of time. 3Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. Again, Psalms answers our questions as to when this would take place; 6Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail. The woman travaileth in Psalms 48 or 1948. Here a little, there a little information for us to study and put together God's plan for us.
Psalms 102:12 But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations. 13Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is Come. While studying the prophetical Psalms one day I noticed the above scripture. Those of you who know me know I believe in the Psalms as a prophetic outline of the last years. Isn't it strange that Psalms 102 and the above (1335 or 1316 years later, Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days, or 2002 AD) is the same year? Why do we suspect this? 44And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me. 5 What was Jesus trying to relate to us by specifically mentioning prophecies concerning him in the Psalms? Jesus only taught in parables to the unbelieving yet this is pretty straight forward for believers. What in the Psalms pertains to Jesus more than most of the other scriptures? What in the Psalms related to him a thousand years before he was on earth?
Or, did the comet of 1997 have any significance? On or about March 13, 1997 the comet commonly known as Hale-Bopp named after the two individuals who supposedly discovered it was at it's brightest location in the sky. Isn't it strange that exactly 31/2 years after the confirmation of the covenant between Rabin (meaning many) and the little horn, Arafat, who arose out of obscurity with a few renegade arabs in the muslim empire, this sign appears. If this sign is the sign Christ said would come, symbolizing his imminent return, it would be as the sign the Magi saw at his birth. 31/2 years plus 30 days equalling 1290 days later Sharon goes on the temple mount and starts the muslim holy war against Israel and the infidel, the USA. 11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days What,s next? This puts us somewhere around Oct. 13, 2000. 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Here we go on another 1335 days. Or as it says the 1335 days. Oct 13, 2000 plus 1335 days puts us somewhere around the end of April or beginning of June of the year 2004. What happened around that Biblical time?
What was the knowledge the Heaven's Gate group had that would make them even faintly believe the comet had something to do with the coming of a savior? In all their misguided actions did they understand more than we give them credit for? Where was the patience of the saints? Why did they believe they could somehow get to the savior by their own actions? Did Psalms 97 mention it or was it just a coincidence? His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. 5The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 6The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 96What did this mean? 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. I think we can say this comet was all of these things, but was it a sign of the coming of Christ? As the movie Armageddon suggested, we may very well try to shoot Jesus out of the sky upon his return. 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Psalms 99 8Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions The U.S.A. alone spent almost 1 trillion dollars for fear of what was coming on the earth. The underlying issue here is that the world is now prepared to adapt to the Internet (part of the beast system) through upgraded computers which will eventually bring the world back into the Babylonian system where all were of one mind, and nothing their mind could conceive they could not do.
The primary significance of all this is the events that began in 2001 had a great significance. All these events line up just as scriptures foretell. There are numerous more prophecies as we see the spirit of God taken away in Psalms 103 He will not always strive with us, Through genetic engineering and mapping of the human gene almost complete, man will overcome disease and it will be defeated. who healeth all thy diseases;
Satan himself appears in Psalms 104 There is that Leviathan . The two witnesses (6He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen) of Zechariah, Saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm." in Psalms 105. Judgments on the earth, Psalms 105 His judgments are in all the earth. Signs and wonders 27 They performed His signs among them, And wonders in the land of Ham. Pestilence's, vials of Revelation; 34He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number, 35And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
It's all here in these short chapters. All the things the Bible predicts will happen just prior to the coming of Christ.
If you haven't had the opportunity to study the Bible and wonder how we get so much prophecy from so little Bible text or information, there is a simple answer and it is scriptural. Read the book of Hebrews and read some of the prophetic verses given by Paul and the writers. It will or should amaze you at the things the old testament sages should have known or picked out of scripture but didn't because they were hidden or scattered throughout scripture. In our case hindsight is always 20/20. The following are the wise. 9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: If you wonder how the wicked will fare, read on.
. 13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
But, the most significant Psalm may be one of the most quoted and less understood. 1 Psalm 100: Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. What significance may we attach to this Psalm? This Psalm is written by Moses and is dedicated to Asher, meaning happy or blessed. This Psalm seems to divide the former 99 Psalms from the next 50, separating turmoil from turmoil. But the true meaning may be deeper than that. It seems to imply a consummation of things past and maybe a new beginning; the seventieth week of Daniel. 5For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. . 24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Ariel Sharon's Temple Mount visit - Irresponsible? Justified? What do you think?

Sharon probably wishes he was as powerful as the world press makes him out to be! Was Ariel Sharon's ascent to the Temple Mount a smart thing to do in the current situation? No. Was his ascent to the Mount sufficient "provocation" to trigger off the violence we have seen since that Friday? Also no. He went unarmed and without violence to visit a Jewish holy site that all agree is an act allowed to all Jews. Arab Israeli MKs were there as well without "provocation" even though they are Israeli Members of Parliament. Let's review. The Thursday before Sharon's visit, an Israeli Border Patrol soldier was murdered by a double roadside bomb inside if Israel, an unprovoked act of violence we had not seen in years. The next morning (before Sharon's ascent to the Mount) a Palestinian policeman, on a joint patrol with an Israeli partner, pulled his automatic rifle on his partner murdering him and then wounded another Israeli policeman. When Sharon ascended the Mount, he saw the mounds of boulders which had been prepared well in advance for pelting Jewish worshipers at the Western Wall below. There was obviously well-planned uprising in the wings waiting for a convenient spark which Sharon provided. It is clear to Israeli security forces that that spark would have come from somewhere else eventually.

After he left, the Imam in the El Aksa mosque on the Mount whipped the congregation (about 2 thousand worshipers) into a frenzy repeating the "new Palestinian truth" that the Israelis have secret plans to take over the mount and destroy the mosques there and that Sharon represented their scout. The Moslem sermon on the Temple Mount today included the following supplications: "We want the battle against the enemy to be orderly. We want dead amidst the enemy. We want to kill and not be killed. We must fight guerrilla warfare."

Thus the violence started as the crowds surged out after their prayers and began throwing the awaiting boulders over the wall and surging into the Old City to take over and burn an Israeli police station there, severely injuring a number of policeman who did not shoot into the crowds. Did you see it on the news?

We again ask the world, did the unarmed visit of a Jew to the Temple Mount justify this past week's violence? Are we to then assume that the Palestinian people are so out of control that any act to which they object may produce such violence as the only response? How then are we to trust any peace agreement? How then are we to trust Palestinian sovereignty in the Old City or trust them as our peaceful neighbours? Why is it that the world ignores the fact that the only time in history that there has been unlimited access to all religions to their holy sites in the Old City has been since the 1967 re-capture of the Old City by Israel?

A. Sharon's visit was TOTALLY mitigated; it set the record straight --- do the palestinians WANT peace OR war! once and for all. They DO NOT. They want statehood and Sharon tested whether Israel and the Palestinians can live in peace or not; Arafat et al. said, de facto, NO! WHEN Arafat announces statehood (and it SHALL be) and East Jerusalem as "his" capital, Barak will surely likewise claim Jerusalem as a permanent capital. No peace, then Barak or ANY PM may bar Palestinians from Israel proper.

Let Arafat roll his tanks in, or Iraq's if any one is SCARED. PERIOD

Let the sword be Israel's protectorate, and the LORD the savior. Let the Christians, the Muslims or ANY Jew wait for their christ or messiah.

Just WHAT does anyone expect from the messiah, the annointed one, ANYWAY? EVERY servant the LORD sent Israel seemed to find problem with, with FEW exceptions.

This was a response to a message that another person posted before you, which you obviosly did not read. She was saying that "jihad" meant the same as "Genocide", and I was explaining the vast difference. And for your information, it has everything to do with the current situation.In 1967 The UN Peace resolution #242 was put into effect. Giving Palestinians the territories known as the West Bank and Gaza under gaurantee that they shall have full protection and rights to this land, and shall be offered a gaurantee for their refugees the Right to Return back to their homes without consequences. This resolution also gauranteed them that their basic human rights shall not be violated.Since then, many, many high ranking Jewish leaders such as the late Rabbi Meir Kahane and Likud party leader, Ariel Sharon and others, have developed oppsition organizations to over throw this International Agreement.Meir Kahane himself founded the "MACH" organization which was attempting to compeletely "wipe out all Palestinians from Israel, period" Sharon and his hinchmen were responsible for the massacre of hundreds of muslems in the Cities of Sabria and Shatila in 1994 I believe. He was never questioned or put to trial by the Israeli government. This is "GENOCIDE". Now as Israel is taking in more and more Jewish immigrants, these Jews are illegally settling into Palestinian territory.Again, violating the International Peace Agreement. This protection is being jeopardized by these settlers and Palestinians are being pushed further and further back, their lives, their homes, their land and their rights are being stolen from them as the world turns a blind eye. It is obvious that Israel can't hold up it's end of the Peace Agreement and as the rest of the world sits idle, these Paletinians have no choice then to take issues into their own hands and defend what is rightfully theirs.
